Valerie Tremblay, Winemaker
Valerie Tremblay is the first female French-Canadian winemaker of Okanagan Falls. She is the winemaker at Carter Wine Company, responsible for the quality wines produced and the formative rehabilitation of the once-damaged vines of the land. Her skill as an efficient crew consultant for vineyards of the southern Okanagan added to her reputation for a solid work ethic. She is also the operations and cellar master for BC Wine Studio.
Stephen Carter, Owner
Stephen Carter had a dream of a quieter, peaceful life. After a successful landscaping career serving the Shaughnessy area, all signs pointed to the Okanagan to cultivate on his own land. He bought Hawk's Vineyard in 2011 with a vision to turn it into a unique visitor and hospitality centre. Stephen's passion and time are often spent working to restore the grand, historic log cabin home on the property to its classic splendour.
